about masha station: the masha washing station in the kayanza region of burundi is in the northern part of the country, near the bordering country rwanda. a few thousand small farms in the surrounding area use this washing station to process their coffees. this station was formed in 1989 and in 2012 recieved top place in the burundi cup of excellence competition.
